To use the website you must input your address, postcode, whether you can access and modify your roof, and your approximate yearly energy consumption in the appropriate fields on the Data page. This then makes a request to the server, and once the server responds the graph will be updated with data appropriate to your location and circumstances. You can then use the 3 sliders to adjust your initial investment, the period of time you'd like to see in the graph, and your projected average price of electricity over this period.

For example, if you'd like to invest 10000 GBP, see the graph over 20 years, and expect the price of electricity to average to 0.5 GBP over the next 20 years, you can adjust the sliders to these values and the graph will update accordingly. You can also hover over the graph to see the exact values at each point in time.
